How to enjoy a show like Lil' Bush

The key to enjoying a show like this is too not care, I meen if your honoustly watching this show (or comedy central) because you want interlectual stimulation or creative wit and sharp writing then you're on the wrong channel, heck you probably shoudn't be watching tv at all, go read a book.

However If you've had a long day at work or lotts of exams (like I had today) then this is the perfect program to just sit back and relax with. You don't have to pay attention because the plot is nice and thin, you can just tune in and out and catch the ocassional joke which, stupid though it may be, will raise a smile too your face.

My last point though, If you don't like a show your not being forced to watch it, I suggest next time that you find yourself watching lil' bush, american dad, family guy or south park and consider them too below your intellectal standards that you get up, turn off the tv and read the hitchhikers guide to the galaxy or something similar.

No, you're an idiot.

I watch it but they use jokes about Bush that are years old and not really that new, I think it will be one season only like most show in the last few years.

reply

i think its wicked funny. i like some of the subtle jokes they do.

Maybe you just have bad taste?

reply

I think its funny.

reply

i like the show too....but i don't think they have enough to base it on....in my opinion, it will be cancelled but not because it is a bad show but because they won't have enough ideas to keep it running after one season....they could do an election episode maybe, maybe one on walter reed, and i don't think it really works with bush's father in office....but i still think the show is funny...

reply

I think your right after Bush is out of office,
they will run out of jokes and the jokes they
have are old and have been around for years and are not funny anymore.
The same people who love this show hate the 1/2 hour news hour.

To enjoy this show heres all you need.
1. A sense of humor
2. Be atleast a little smart.
3. Know who George Bush is and a even a little about politics

And that's it. This show is aweome and funny as hell. I like George Bush and am a Republican but who cares. It's funny and people need to lighten up. If you don't like it don't watch it. Season 2 YES!!!!!!!

Believe or not, comedy DID have "creative wit" and "interlectual stimulation" with "sharp writing". Isn't that amazing?

I showed my friend this, and he didn't like it. And he laughs at terminal illness.

Liberals and comedy don't go together.

I... what?
Almost all funny comedians are liberals.

If you were smart, you'd realize that Lil' Bush is garbage far below the standards of the shows you listed and that South Park is brilliant.

And if hitchhiker's guide to the galaxy is the first thing that comes to mind when you think intellectualism, well, you're probably stupid.

Thank you, though, for not understanding comedy in the slightest, you've helped to filter out shows such as Arrested Development, protecting fragile America from having to think too hard.

I'm moving to ****ing Europe.

Firstly to RazzleDazzle, Im Dylexic, so thanks for making fun of that, you must feel so good about yourself.

Secondly I never said it was amazing, I was pointing out that your not being forced to watch this, if its below your Interlectual standards then get up and change the channel or read a book. I did say it was watchable if you dont think about it too much, just let it wash over you.

Of course if you meerly insulted me just for stating an opinion on something so trivial as a show which probably will not be renewed for a second series then you just demonstrated your interlect.

I agree with setsunaandkurai: I just finished a physics paper and I must say, this show really does help me unwind. Although stupid, it helps me escape the news for a short period of time. I just like watching something that makes fun of Bush. I realize that I must drop a few IQ points every time I watch it, but sometimes stupidity is the only defense against the world.

So you don't know what spell check is? Don't be pissed at someone for pointing out your stupidity.
Also, I think Comedy Central has some good, intelligent shows, mainly The Daily Show and The Colbert Report. Although I get a little tired of Colbert masturbating to himself. South Park can be smart, although I don't like it as much in the past two or three seasons. Lil' Bush just seems to be old and tired, and boring. I'd rather just not watch television (thats a novel idea, huh?). I guess I can be happy that they're making fun of a retard though.

PS, Terminal Illness is funnier than a squirrel getting kick in the nuts and raped repeatedly.

Nothing fails like prayer.

Wait, so you expect me to spellcheck everything I write on the internet just to appease a bunch of people who clearly understood what I wrote but are such pains in the butts that they have to point out my errors in grammar instead of trying to debate the points of my posts, which would make mean wasting hours of time each week? Who would do that?, cause if you would then your clearly the stupid one here,

"I'd rather just not watch television (thats a novel idea, huh?)"

Yeah that was one of my main points of my argument, if you don't like it, don't watch it.

What is so hard about right-clicking on a word that is underlined in red, so that you don't look like you're illiterate or a rap fan? Download Firefox and get the spell checker, it isn't that hard.

Yes.

Seriously, I have tried this becuse I was tired of people taking the p*** out of my writing, but the amount of time it takes just to get anything done is just to long and not worth the efort. I mean in one post I may make twenty spelling mistakes, each one takes about four seconds to ensure I get the right word, so thats over a minate more per post, besides I don't think my speling is to bad, I've seen a lot worse from people who aren't dyslexic on the internet

reply

"interlectual" is not a word!!! And your spelling is horrid, stop using the "I was in a hurry" excuse. You're arguing on a computer, you're not going anywhere!

reply

You only need one exclamation mark at any time, so using three is redundant- There did you see how annoying that was? you made an honoust mistake but rather than someone arguing against your points they criticise your grammar, despite clearly understanding what you said. Gah, what kind of Jerk would do something like that?

reply

Thanks for this thread. I can see now that the only way to enjoy a show like Lil' Bush is to be a complete idiot. Either that, or a self-proclaimed dyslexic teenager that can't use spelling and grammar checks.

reply

Yet despite being insulted by a bunch of random people I am the one who is still trying to argue against their reasons instead of going "HA HA, You are stupid because I don't like this show and you do,"

Seriously, does it scare you that much that someone is able to argue above the level of a ten year old? This is why the rest of the internet laughs at the IMDB boards.

reply

Too true. I like this show because it isn't smart, unlike some other political based shows. It is like escape fiction in the pile of interpretive fiction. It's a refreshing break from the ordinary.
