Song" A ciega

I love this song. I don't understand Spanish, and can't find the translated lyrics anywhere. Tried google translate, but seems like some words are hard to translate, so what I got was a meaningless cocktail of Spanish and English words that don't mean anything.
Anyone can at least tell me what the song is about (title means Blind(ly) I think?) and also..is it a 'classic', or originally sung by M. Poveda? I am also interested in other songs of same style and kind of performance (his voice and performance is heart breaking!)
