Quite a Ride
Well, I said I couldn't wait to see it, and yesterday I wasn't disappointed -- at the beginning I was cringing because the acting seemed a bit too...strained, but it got much better after the first couple of scenes.
Michael was fantastic, as usual--initially I was a little put off by the accent, but it wasn't as bad as it could have been, and at least he reverted to his 'normal' accent for the rest of the movie. I have to commend him; he played the psycho part to a tee, though I found myself alternating between "Gaaah, Watch out! There he is!" and "Oh my God, I love him. Can he be any hotter?" LOL He was creepy yet his usual drop-dead gorgeous. (lol, Forgive the fangirling in this corner) I suppose that's what Mendeluk wanted from his villain; I could definitely believe Monica would be drawn in by Jack; it would have been different had her stalker actually LOOKED like a stalker.
A great watch; I'm glad I taped it so I can watch it over and over!
