How many people here were converted to liking Russell Brand?

By the looks of it, a lot of people thought RB was going to ruin the show and that he was far too annoying, then they watched the show and compared him to 'proper' comedians such as David Walliams, who, may I add, is the unfunniest man in the UK, then realised that he is extremely funny? I myself have always loved Russell. I was infatuated (sp?) with him since the first episode of Big Brother's Big Mouth (I didn't watch CBB) and always thought him hilariously funny.

I thought he was quie funny before hand but sticking him with Fielding was genius, I was pissing myself.

Noel & Russell have always been brilliant together, but seeing them together for a whole 2 hours was genius. Yeah I think loads of people now like Russell Brand which is good!!!

i only watched it because russell brand and noel fielding were going on it
ive always thought russell has been one of the most funny guys in britain because he always shocks people, and i thought David walliams just embarrassed himself , he was not funny at all!
Noel and Russell the best guys on the show hands down !

lol i hated him before, i found him annoying, weird and kinda pervish but after that show i love him, him and noel were sooo great and soo cute :P

I have to agree. I've seen RB on a few things and absolutely couldn't stand him and couldn't see what anyone thought was funny about his constant ballbags "joke".
But after seeing him on this I thought he made the show, was very funny and I'll be looking out for him in the future.

i never even heard of russel or noel before this show now ill love them to the ends of the world and me and russel "will be like great trees and when we die we will fall and someone will shout TIMBER as an echo of our last orgasm" thats what he said on friday night with jon ross. i love him 4 eva nd eva. i have this kink in my hair that i used to really hate it didnt go however much i straitened it. but now i love it cos it looks like russels but obvioulsy smaller. i love it i like to think of it as "our kink of kinkyness in our everlasting unity"

my fave part in the quiz was "what was matt eating?" noel nd russel: "winegums, envy and pieces of rainbow" XD <3

I hadn't heard of either of them.. (I dont watch a lot of tv =p) And my sisters boyfriend had the tv on and I was bored.. I was LAUGHING so much from Russell Brand and Noel Fielding! I've been obsessively researching about them now XD

Reading about Brand's antics in the papers it seemed easy to dismiss him as another talentless moron, but he's a man of surprises as he is in fact elegantly witty and hugely funny, and his double-act with Noel was one of the TV highlights of the year! (2006!!). Definitely a convert.

Maybe if Julian Barratt ever decides to wrap up the Mighty Boosh partnership (God forbid!) Noel and Russell could start something new up....

Don't say that!!! lol the very thought of one of them leaving the Boosh breaks my heart!

They could always do a little Goth Detectives series on the side though..

Vince is the best character!

I'm also a Russell convert. I didn't watch for anyone really, it was just on and I watched it.

Totally, I now think he's a genius. I can even put up with his pronunciation.
