GPS?

Didn't the boss of the truck agency say these new trucks have GPS?

Wouldn't they kind of notice two trucks driving in circles around an old mill?

reply

Sometimes GPS lose the signal, but they keep the location where they lost it
and when they recover the signal they send it
obviously armored trucks will never plan a route with no signal zones.

reply

The trucks didn't have GPS.
Fred Ward's character said they were going to have new trucks with GPS.
So the heist had to be done before those new vehicles arrived.

reply

Armored trucks carrying 42 million dollars with no GPS!?!? LOL, that is really hilarious... i live in Buenos Aires, and most cabs have GPS!!
this must be the worst heist movie ever...

reply

haha it was ridiculous that there was no gps.

reply

If I lived in Buenos Aires I'd have a GPS on my bike my scooter and my skateboard and they would still probably get stolen.

If I have to read the book to help explain the movie that tells me the movie failed

I questioned that armored trucks would not have GPS as well. I also questioned them not calling and checking in with their position every so often. I told these things to my friend who drives armored cars. The company he works for neither has GPS on any truck, nor do they call to check in with their position.

I'm actually more surprised that there isn't a GPS transmitter in each money pack... That would seem logical to me.
