They killed off Fred??!! The only good character in the serries??!!

The only reson I watched this disapointing series is because of JJ Feild and they killed him!!!
Agh, this is just sad, I wish it was some sick joke and he turns up safe and sound in Tiger in the well....humph!
(Oooh, maybe he is the tiger in the well!!! Any shard of hope!)

Well not according to the Sally Lockhart quartet novels. Later in the series she meets another man who has similar traits as Fred.

The end of this movie pissed me off so I'm mentally changing the ending

Now I choose to believe they faked Fred's death so Axel Bellman would think he one-upped Sally. The story plays out in a similar manner but at the end we find out that not only is Fred still alive but he and Sally are married and having a baby.
