Awesome movie if you're not expecting Death Note 3. spoilage

I honestly enjoyed the fact it was about L handling a case not dealing with a magic killer composition book. However even though Ryuuk's in one scene, I believe it's somewhat misleading by putting him on the box art. Albeit not that prominently.

I personally found it awful.
My main gripe with it wasn't its lack of connection to Death Note at all, but rather the corny, cliche-ridden script, stale direction, and (excluding the typically excellent Matsuyama, and to a degree Mayuko Fukada as Maki) poor acting.
