Expecting people to accent their words correctly, especially in a language as rare as Icelandic (let's be fair, there aren't that many Icelandic speakers in the world in comparison), is a bit much, even more so when you consider that the English language uses no such accent marks. You may want to get used to seeing this because it's never going to change, that's just the way English speakers typing Icelandic words are going to be.
Now if you had said that Mea Bloanasir was gibberish in the first place, and offered up the Med Blodnasir as a correct alternative, just so an English speaker would know how to correctly communicate the name of the song to an Icelandic speaker if they ever encountered them, obviously so as not to embarrass themselves, you may not have come off as quite so smug. ;)
