The art dealer is creepy

I get the sense that Anthony Brunelli is the real mastermind behind the whole thing. In the DVD deleted scenes, he talks about how he and Marla's dad went to the same school, but he was the ignored art geek and Marla's dad was the jock. I don't know. I can see his inner outcast youth wanting to cleave himself to the popular crowd and being the one looked up to for guidance. Exploring his possible motives would be great for a novel.
