Every soldier/politician involved is a war criminal to me

Please...

To all those right wingers (too afraid to sign up) justifying this as frat boy antics or necessary to protect ourselves, I got one word.

Nuremberg.

Meaning:

1.- "Following orders" doesn't excuse anyone.
2.- Were any goverment treating american civilians or soldiers or mercenaries like this, they would be condemned worldwide, regardless of their just or unjust reasons.

That's right.

Reverse the victims and tell me with a straight face that it's OK to treat americans suspect of terrorism/criminal acts/whatever like this by another goverment.

i completely agree!!

Thanks, me too.

Even Osama Bin Laden deserves better (a clean execution, if the nazis got their day in court and proper hanging, why not Bin Laden), for OUR sake, not his.

You don't get it. In Nuremberg, those accused were Germans - not Americans! (or Israelis, like Ariel Sharon.) Think of My Lai. Double standards? American justice!!!

"1.- "Following orders" doesn't excuse anyone."
It's not like in movies that line never works. I am solider and I am not oblijated to obey any unlawful order. they did what they did becauase they choose too.

This wholoe thing was thrown way out of proprtion. It was only stupid people doing stupied things, it was just frat boy antics. I am not trying to justfy what they did, it was wrong. But consider what what those soliders have seen? Do you have any idea how much that could numb a person? I've looked into the eyes of an army medic and all I could see was death. They aren't bothered by things like other people would and are able to push things a further then they should, which is what happened here.

Nuremberg trails, was real torture case this was just stupidy.

Agreed. This sort of gross misconduct sets a bad precedent.

I'm a totally bitchin' bio writer from Mars!
