This sounds like an impressive operation being planned. My questions:
1. Will this stop the genocide?
2. Why can more not be done immediately?
3. Will this operation actually happen? Or will it be severely modified and legislated down by 2008?
I saw the movie and my impression is :
1) No, will not stop genocide.
2) More will not be done because no one is talking about the only realistic solution.
3) This operation will not actually happen.
In the movie, someone has a sign that says' "Out of Iraq and into Darfur."
This is like saying replace insanity with insanity.
If we look at how Rwanda was solved, it was when the rebel forces were strong of to beat the genociders. The only solution to Darfur is to arm the rebels (SLA and JEM ?) enough so thay can stand up to the genociders.
