Dontations

After watching, I felt the need to donate some money to the Sudanese people. I went to savedarfur.com and I wanted to see what this money was going to. It said:

"Your gift will help fund our crucial awareness and advocacy programs that play a critical role in building the political pressure needed to end the crisis in Darfur."

I didn't want to donate my money to raising awareness and non-sense like that. The awarness is already there and the government already knows what's going on. Giving funding to something like that is a waste.

Their site says the money goes to:
The people of Darfur need our financial help to purchase food, shelter, medical supplies and other needed items. Aid organizations, which are working diligently to help refugees in the camps, need our financial support.

I don't know about you guys, but I'd rather my money go to that.
