WHERE IS THE POOL?????
Seriously. This is turning into a tragedy of epic proportions. I saw it at Sundance and fell in love with it, and hyped it up to friends and family and total strangers on the street, and I NEED to see it again. I need to OWN it. I need a shiny DVD copy sitting on my shelf. It reminded me of the Apu trilogy, sort of. At least Panther Panchali. It had the same tone.
Hey, Chris Smith. If you read these little insignificant blurbs, I met you in the hallway of the main building at Sundance. You were with Ayesha from the movie (that was her name, right?). Anyway, I was a slovenly hungover mess and probably smelled like death, but you still shook my quivering paw, and hid your disgust very well. I kid, but I met a couple other directors and film folk and you were the only one that took time to chat for a minute.
Anyway, whats the status, homeboy? This movies needs DVD distribution STAT. I'll even settle for a release date. Anything.
