BIG Martial Arts money machine!

In the industry for more than 20 years I have no doubts! This “Beyond the Ring” is another very inexpensive “martial arts cash cow” just like a movie called “Pit Fighter” that came out 2 or 3 years ago!
It looks inexpensive! I would say, not much more than half million and a lots of free propaganda in magazines, internet, small TV stations and etc…It probable will do OK in Europe and Asia, but certainly will make a small fortune in the Latin America TV and video markets. Latin people love martial arts drama and this one has a Latin star.
I’m already pretty impress of how the distribution in the US and Canada managed to get a front spot Blockbuster national release. Blockbuster loves good deals and having crazy Gary Busey and Martin Kove probable opened the doors for business and helped the transactions!
Bad acting, cheap, unrealistic or whatever is called… This low-priced 80s style martial arts movie is nothing else, but one more “money making” machine!
