This movie has to be one of his best. I mean there was everything good action, a good storyline with goods twists. A cast of more than 1 actor (seagal}. I mean I really enjoyed and I tihnk that most people will. This is definatley a step up for him from what he has been making. It would have to be atleast as good as exit wounds.....maybe even better. Overall I think this will get generally a great review from maanyn people.

Expectations should be low for a Seagal DTV. VERY low.
shareDon't get me wrong, everything else in there actually raised the bar for action DVD. it was far more polished than say, foreigner, and that was a Theatrical production. It would have been nice to have had Sony make more effort in post, that's all.

well the storyline wasn't great, the acting wasn't that good and there were no good twists and the action wasn't very good either but... i admit this is much better than hes recent movies. Now spare me from your " in your face " bullsh!t cause you only want to believe this is really a good movie or then you don't have any taste in movies.

It is definitely one of Seagal's best DTV films. Even though I prefer Jean-Claude Van Damme, I think Urban Justice kicks the crap out of The Hard Corps.
shareIn my "PINOCCHIO" opinion: Like practically all Seagal films from about 2000 to the present date, this is a very vile film in more ways than one. The 'feel' of the movie is washed up -as is Seagal. It's pretty much 'violence for the sake of violence' and completely purposeless revenge and nothing more. Nonetheless Seagal -even in a number of 2000s movies, and even when he is WAY past his prime and 'washed up'- always maintains a certain 'aura' and charisma. It's entertaining to see him viciously beat up and shoot so many people. Urban Justice has plenty of action and ironically is one of the more 'watcheable' 2000s Seagal movies...though it is very hard-core, gangsta, and gritty in every way: 1 star out of 4.
