Accents

I love movies set in Louisiana, especially when the actors take the trouble to learn that Creole coon-ass accent. That accent fascinates me.
I liked this movie a lot. Tommy Lee Jones was good just being himself. John Goodman has incredible talent playing a character like Baby Feet. I've been crushing on Peter Sarsgaard ever since he was in the Kate Hudson movie, Skeleton Key. He did a real comic turn for this part, and I liked it.
I love the humidity, the rain, the mysticism and haunting feel of Louisiana. Movies set in this state always have a little other-wordly aura about them. I love that.
