We support your war of terror!
Looks cool. Looking forward to seeing this. As a supporter, i hope to get a free pass to the Melbourne premiere!
shareEmail me, and I'll sort it out :) (email addy on the website Contact Us page)
Is the trailer on the website working for you guys? Initially had it as Flash, then got some complaints - so now it's Quicktime...
Seeing as how Gabriel's not doing so hot in the theatres, I doubt any distribution companies will be keen to chance their arm on another genre film... damn.
We're planning on arranging some local screenings ourselves anyway - maybe double-header with a MEL film down there etc...
what the hell?
shareHey Studman, what's your 'what the hell' for?!
sharefor this film!!
shareI like it.
ie. I haven't seen it yet but i'm one of the kid bullies so yeah, i like it.
LONG LIVE ALEX AND JORDAN
okey-dokey!
shareDon't worry about what the hell studman has to say. He is a jilted Aussie film maker. Maybe if they spent a little bit more time on their films and a little less time on imdb. They really don't have anything nice to say about any aussie films.
Check up their body of materpieces.

Good luck with your film Doug. Congrats on even getting it made.
Loved the trailer. Just saw it on youtube too. I must add a positive comment for you guys. Any word on its release? It's been a while.
shareHi,
We've found a great audio post production house to do all the foley, dialogue mix etc - so we're giving them the video locked film in a couple of weeks. It'll then be 6-8 week until the stereo mix is completed.
This will then be sent to distribution companies and film festivals. DVD should be available soon after.
Cheers, Doug.
pay no attention to future man, he's silly
shareHi folks,
Mnemonic Audio in Melbourne are doing the audio post production - very excited, as they are talented blokes.
So, we need to get them the locked video in a couple of weeks, then they should be finished with the audio in late April.
Once the film's ready, we'll be sending it out to film fests and distributors - hopefully it'll get picked up speedily, and we'll get it out there ASAP.
While the audio's being done, we have to do all the colour correction and grading, credits etc... as well as all the DVD extras! No rest for the wicked, eh...
We're lucky enough to have a 5 page spread in UK horror mag Shivers (the Aliens vs Predator 2 issue) - some newsagents in Aus get the mag (Borders in Bondi Junction should have it in soon), check it out if you can.
Cheers, Doug.
cheers!
shareSeems like i've been waiting ages for this. Any updates?
shareHi!
Premiere is going to be at a horror film festival in August (more details once we've been confirmed).
Music and sound design is being finished off next week and I'm completing the grading too.
Then screeners will go out to film festivals and distributors, then we'll release it as soon as possible.
The nature of a low low budget indie film is that most people are working on it for nothing (or deferred), so when paying work comes in, then the film has had to take a back seat.
We're very happy with the film, though! Can't wait to get it out there...
Cheers, Doug.
Anything new? thanks, Doug!
shareHiya,
Yep lots of news, but the ink's not dry, so we can't say too much - just sorting out a DVD distribution deal. We've some deliverables to arrange, plus completing 'making-of' stuff for the DVD.
I think the distributors are talking about releasing it for the Ashes (June 09) - piggy-backing on that event will give us maximum publicity.
It's showing at a few film festivals, if any are close to you:
Amberg (Germany)
Abertoir (Wales)
Freakshow (Florida, US)
Madison (Wisconsin, US).
Cheers! Doug.
