London. There were several times when the some of the girls in the audience began asking questions before the camera got to them (or myabe my head was turned, I dont' remember) but the poiint is that I heard the voice before seeing the face and that English accent is really sexy.

reply

London is better. More intelligent questions, and audience members who Kevin Smith could more easily relate to, and not have to drop down to their level. Toronto had mostly stupid questions being asked, and could be painful to watch cause of some of the audience members trying to be funny. Plus London had Kevin Smith go off on LOTR, which was great.

reply

love both but disk 2 so much better

I'm a Buffyist, ask me how! _((B))_

reply

Some of the stories on disk 1 were better, but the audience and questions were better in disk 2.

reply

I laughed more for disc 2, but I've also got to give some credit for my home and native land. London by a narrow margin.

Toronto , eh!!

"I superglued myself to ....myself"

reply

I preferred the London Q&A myself, I thought his English accent was awesome, although i wouldn't say all the questions posed to him were intelligent, anyone remember the "if you could be half sausage....." question?

reply

I thought the London disc was the better and Jason Mewes chat up lines were funny!!

I am English and I did cringe every time Kevin Smith tried to do the English accent but apart from that it was the better disc

reply

London was far better than the Toronto show

reply

laughed so hard if i were drinking milk it would have shot out of my nose when watching both but if i had to pick i would say first is better

reply

I really wanted to like this DVD. But I thought he was a more mean-spirited and crude than the first one( An Evening With Kevin Smith).
I'm comparing to the first one, because, he seemed more mellow, humble, had lot more stories to tell. In this one, when he brings Mewes to the stage, it was just, unfunny and more for shock value. And watching his wife literally rubbing up on Mewes during the Q and A was cringe-inducing.

@ the subtitles guy, you are a moron

take your hand out of my pocket and your heart off of my sleave

reply

(I've read some Brits are only able to watch "Napoleon Dynamite," for example, with the subtitles on).

what planet do you live on?

seriously. I think British audiences get Kevin Smith more than Americans. Case in point. The lesbien girl (from the 1st disk of EWKS) talking about Chasing Amy and how audiences read it as "All gay girls need is a hard dick". And even when he was debunking this in front of the audience, half the male audience was jeering him, as though that is actually what he meant with the movie. All Kevin Smith has to do is say the work FAT C**KKK in one of your universities and everybody goes wild.

Kevin Smith movies are a little more complex than that.

Did any other british people find the london show almost embarrassing to watch, because of all the retarded folk that didnt know when to shut the *beep* up, making the rest of us look like idiots.
I was just watching it again and I was really cringing at some of the sh*t these people were saying.

reply

There are people like that in every country. Take George Bush, for example. Because of him, most of the world thinks that all Texans are gunslinging hillbillies, and I guarantee you that is not the case.

Tough call. More idiots in Toronto, however, Smith seemed to tell better stories or have longer responses than London. London seemed more to the point, and often I felt the audience asking questions were waiting for more of a response. But my city (TO) does have some odd ones..but the edge is Toronto

reply

Both were amazing !!!! Watch or listen at least once a week. But if I had a choise..... London.

But Damn.... that girl in Toronto !!

reply

London !

reply

I would have to say that the London disc was much better. I thought the audience was better as a whole. There were too many times in the Toronto session where people in the crowd are just yelling random *beep* or trying to yell a funny quip,(like the guy that yelled "She's your beard" in reference to Kevin's wife and no one laughed). In a case like that I would be pissed to be in that audience because I paid to see Kevin Smith speak, not to hear people in the theater yelling.
