Smithy and Nessa are much more attractive then Gavin and Stacey? Ok they are on the bigger size but I think Smithy is so much better looking then Gavin who I dont see the appeal with at all! Stacey is very pretty, but I think Nessa is much more striking.

I'm much more interested in Nessa and Smithy than Gavin and Stacey - but I think they're meant to be a bit bland and "normal" to emphasise the quirkiness of everybody else.

I love this program! I binge it a few times a year. I agree that Gavin and Stacey aren’t really the main couple; they’re more like devices for Smithy and Nessa.
Both Smithy and Nessa have ott personalities. They’re extremely needy for attention, constantly exhibiting attention-seeking behavior. It’s such a hoot to watch!

ive never thought gavin was good looking a lot of girls find him attractive but i think its more the idea of a bf like gavin, stacey is better looking than nessa but i personally tune in for smithy, nessa, pam and brin, i dont care for gav or stacey

Neither Gav nor Stacey are attractive (and who could stand Stacey's voice for more than 5 mins?). Nessa and Smithy are the key story of the show and somehow you find yourself more and more attracted to them because they have personality. Plus, Nessa has amazing eyes. Personally I fancy Mick and Bryn and think Pamelaar is most attractive female. But for the guys lets not rule out Doris!
