I just watched this on Netflix and it seemed like a small independent film and we all know sometimes those movies lack "meat". This movie lacked nothing. Its a beautiful story of how a young jaded woman lets her walls down and falls in love for who is ultimately her soul mate. it was sweet and respectful. it wasn't like most teeager movies now a days that are filled with too much sex and boose although there was some sex and some drugs it wasn't about that though. I was very surprised how good the acting was usually these movies have bad actors and you cringe when they give thier lines this movie was beautifully acted. i enjoyed every minute and I didn't know what to expect going in to it. I'm surprised how low it's rating is on IMDB.

I agree. I really enjoyed the film. It reminded me of a few late nineties/early 00's Indie films I love (desert blue, gas food lodging, dream for an insomniac). It was touching and real to me, good acting, pacing and story.

I couldn't agree more with your comments about this movie.
It was sexy without being sexual and it was romantic with out being stupid.
I like every minute of this movie too.
I kinda felt sad at the ending.
But sadness is part of life too.
My Fave part was when she was all shy but sang on stage and sang your on my list with her then boyfriend.
that was awkward and sexy and romantic all rolled up into one.
