Looks like it really will be just a 40 minute infomercial for Vortex 2.
Now we know why Josh had so much control over what and where TIV2 could be.
I think it was already known that Sean's movie would involve a lot of Josh and Vortex 2 as it is obviously heavily connected with funding for the project. But I guess 99% of the fans would prefer to see the thing based entirely around TIV, Sean and the other guys. I for sure would like to so that. Now let's hope Sean keeps on storm chasing and does a 3-D tornado movie next. I'm sure he would get funding for that without Josh being involved.
Looks pretty cool and impressive nontheless. I'd love to see it but being in Germany I guess I won't get the chance. I think there are only one or two IMAX theaters that show movies in the whole country. :(
Actually "Tornado Alley" will be coming out in 3D later in the year, but the initial release in March will only be 2D.
As for Sean chasing in 2011, he has already stated he will be back with TIV2 for the next season of "Storm Chasers".
Excellent, that means there is a chance it will run in a couple of theaters in Germany that show 3-D nature and science documentary. I'll keep my fingers crossed.
And great to hear Sean will be back for the next season! :) Do you know if he is planning or already working on a second tornado movie?
Sean wasn't specific on what he would be doing in the 2011 season. He just said he had a lot of "ideas" for how to use the TIV2 now that "Tornado Alley" is complete. Obviously he won't give away too much and we'll just have to wait until Season 5 starts.
