If all episdoes are not based on a book - then please tell me which ones are based on - i only happen to know about season 2 episode 3 - the fifth woman which i have read the book.

Quite. A few are based on his books. And then most were written by Mankell. You start throwing in the Rolf and Kenneth version and it gets even harder to track. Like now Troubled Man is coming and I know I have read it, and seen it, the submarine theme...that must have been Krister right?. Gad...glad they are all good. Try Wikipedia. And MHz Choice.
