I don't wish to sound ageist but isn't Ms Endre a little too old at 54 to play the mother of two young teens in season 2. Of course she could have had the kids as a geriatric primigravida but I wonder whether she was cast so as not to generate a ridiculously large age gap between Henriksson and his love interest.

I know what you mean about the age, if taking her real age in to account; however, in the episode I've just watched she says her character's age is nearly 50...so not too hard to believe that she's got teenage kids? She looks about that old too so again, not too incredible!
shareI don't think it's that hard to believe, plenty of women with professional careers don't have their children until late 30s/40-ish. At 50 or even 54 it wouldn't be so strange to have young teen-aged children.
