Is it worth watching starting in 2nd season

I just saw it on Netflix and looks interesting but is it worth watching starting the 2nd and part of the 3rd season or just a waste and going to leave me wanting more or just plain lost. ?? Thx to any1 who gives me a good answer.

It is excellent no matter when you start. I started in the middle, and consider each episode fine in and of itself. Now that I've finally seen almost all, I may watch again from the beginning, but I don't think it's necessary.

Enjoy!

Yes, start anywhere. Season 1 is my favorite, and other fans might like it. Even if folks see other seasons first season 1 is remarkable anytime.

A strange nostalgia I have for the cast of season 1 reminds me of how much I enjoy their subtle ways of communicating. Intense moments were arrived at through acting presented well and not the typical production elements Hollywood uses to forecast to us how we should feel and engage with upcoming scenes.

The second season took a move in cinematography, timing, and something else - not of the same mood - but I'm very glad it's out there. The series is all worthwhile, and it's been well said, jump in anytime.

Happenings in season 1 inform what follows, both in storytelling and the echoing of life. Seeing it may adapt an eye to lost nuances and shift a perspective.
Having watched episodes through smudgy lashes, here is a tremendous gift given.

Krister Henriksson is easily my favorite Wallander. I wouldn't miss an episode.

Your good answer has already been provided and much time has gone by, but I can't help but say to anybody how much I liked season 1 and hope others do, too.
