Sounds like a rip off of Laymon. Why doesn't somebody bite the bullet and produce one of his books? If they did it well, it would blow away all these lake horror movie pretenders!

shareI dont think his books would make a good movie only because of it wouldn't get released without getting many parts taken out of it. Look at the Jack Ketchum movies. They have great potential but the only ones that make them into movies are lesser known directors that don't have the pull to get really good actors and then the movie gets major cuts. Therefore the movie suffers. If someone was to be able to make one of aymond's books into a movie just like it is written with a talented cast, then it would rock, but it won't happen because of restraints/
