Just a terrible, terrible movie all around. It's so boring you just constantly keep hoping it will finally end. The acting is horrible and you will want to turn it off. There's absolutely nothing funny in this film. Seriously, don't waste your time on this garbage.
shareI felt the same way as you. I did give it 5 out of 10 but I am an easy grader. The movie tried to be clever but fell flat on its face. The jokes aren't funny for the most part and I spent the final 37 minutes of this film just waiting for it to be over. I must also say that Tricia Helfer is a terrible actress.

While far from "the best movie of the year" and containing little by way of award-winning acting, I found it entertaining enough. Plus at the end, I wasn't thinking about how bad I wanted that 90 or so minutes of my life back. I do agree that the director didn't seem to know if the movie was a comedy, thriller, or what.. but honestly, all I wanted was a little break from reality - which this delivered just fine.

I didn't think it was amazing, or even great, but it was a fairly entertaining movie for a lazy afternoon; it kept my interest throughout even though yes, the bad guys were really cheesy and the plot a bit lacking. I liked the light-hearted S/M fare (deeper, darker looks into the world of BDSM are also interesting, but sometimes you want it to be light and not indicative of evil/seedy underbelly/psychological instability/yada yada) and the little bits of humor.
I'd watch it again if it were on cable, that's all I'm sayin'.
The same here, I watched the movie because Lothaire Bluteau plays in it! Even this great actor had no chance to do something great with his character! I thought this film was made from a High-school-student! All is horrible, the story, the acting (Leelee Sobieski plays without any talent), some scenes are just stupid! I don't know what happend on this set, it's just s....! It's pitty to see Bluteau in this movie but maybe the script was good and than the wrong people did it! Forget this, worst movie I ever saw!
