this movie was filmed almost entirely on my street
I was so excited to go and see this movie, since I had never before seen a movie being made. Tricia Helfer was far too important to lower herself to addressing any of us onlookers. Leelee was aloof, but on the last day she at least briefly spoke to the kids. The movie itself isn't absolutely terrible, but it is by no means good either. Infact, Leelee's performance was so forced, amateurish and unconvincing, she managed to ruin the whole movie for me. Although she's certainly no beauty (eyes are too close together, huge potato-like head, no-style blah hair, ridiculously tiny lips)), she has got legs for miles and looks fabulous in her 2 or 3 outfits. Tricia Helfer, although I had no idea she existed before this movie, has a knock-out body. Surprisingly her performance was much better than Leelee's, but in the wrong light (anything above a 30 watt bulb) she looks incredibly old. Sunlight isn't necessarily her friend. The story is so stupid and unlikely, and the incredible passion and love Leelee's character Alberta feels for Paul (Tierney)after knowing him for an hour, under a fake name and false pretenses, is insulting to the average viewer. It's just a thoughtless script, appearing to have been thrown together at the last minute, simply avoiding any questions of logic, which exists minimally in this film. All in all, don't waste your money, the reviews on the poster mislead you into thinking this film is decent. Unfortunately, and I mean that sincerely, it simply is nothing close to decent.
