The "haters" seem to be pretty much the usual Dumbest Generation stereotypes who dominate IMDB these days.

They should, however, enjoy the sequel, "Once Again," in which Guy becomes a vampire, Girl becomes a super-heroine, and that fellow who stole Guy's guitar case and money in the first movie returns as a super-villain who blows up most of Dublin real good.
