After having seen the wonderful documentary 'Korreltjie niks is my dood' about South-African poet Ingrid Jonker, I'm very curious about how Carice van Houten's interpretation of Ingrid. And Rutger Hauer as a bonus!
"The Beamer Xperience: 9 feet wide home cinema bliss."
I thought it was superb acting by Carice van Houten, another example of how she deserves an Oscar very soon. I think she can do anything that is required in a script, in this case having a perfect South African English accent. I had never heard of Ingrid Jonker but Mandela spoke about her in a speech in 1994 (his inaugural one for parliament).
Her portrayal of Ingrid was so illuminating. I loved the movie so much. I loved her in Black Book so much as well as in Black Death. Black suits her just fine.
