Does this have a distributor yet?

"Forever" is making the festival circuit, but does anybody know if it's going to be picked up and given a proper theatrical release? Or, failing that, whether it will have a video/DVD release?

First Run/Icarus films are distrubuting "Forever" for now and they say that it will have its theatrical premiere in September of 2007. I hope this means I'll get to see it again because I was deeply moved by it. Unfortunately, if it doesn't get picked up by someone other than First Run/Icarus, I don't think we'll be seeing it again that easily.

It's set to open in Washington, DC soon, so it looks like it found a distributor, and will probably screen at other arthouse cinemas.

Yes, the previous poster is right. First Run/Icarus did pick this up and it had a run at the Film Forum in NYC in September. So a DVD release is sure to follow.

A side note: FR/I also just released Ms. Honigmann's wonderful "O Amor Natural" from 1996 on DVD. Netflix now carries it too. If you enjoy her movies, this is a must-see!
