Good movie. (not great, but good and eerie)

I had never heard about this movie, and didn't know the actors, either, except for Richard Jenkins. So I didn't know what to expect.

I found that it was a good movie, a twist on the Body Snatchers....sort of. But it didn't answer anything, explain anything, or resolve anything. (The Body Snatchers didn't explain much, either, for that matter.)

So I found it good and eerie, and I was caught off guard with a couple of the surprises, which is good for an eerie movie to do. But I would've preferred a little more explanation, a little more resolution. Still, I was surprised and spooked, which is what a thriller is supposed to do.

It WAS slow, as others have mentioned. I stuck with it, though, and it picked up in the second half.

I recommend it, if you realize its limitations. It's better than most movies made these days. I gave it a 6.
