Anybody else notice how JD and his scruffy self was cut adrift, then in both scenes where they showed him floating on the raft he was clean shaven wearing a lighter colored shirt. Is it like the apprentice where they film everyone getting kicked off before the show/contest even starts?
shareYou couldn't tell last week because it was Joy, and the raft shots were more distant. But I noticed again this week it went from scruffy, to clean, to scruffy on beach to back to clean on raft. Same thing as when Sean was cast adrift two weeks ago.

I think what it is, is what they do with Survivor and shows EVERYONE being vut adrift so as to keep people from guessing whos gone the next week or somthin like that..
Notice in the first eppisode that the choping block was pretty much choped to hell before the first cut.
Yeah, it's the same shot of the chopping block every week. They never show the captain actually cutting the rope. He goes back to swing, cut to the same close up shot of the rope, cut back to wide shot which never includes the cut rope in frame.
They should have shot everyone cut adrift in silhouette or with their backs to the camera.
Survivor is pretty good about continuity editing.
Can't be, because then Jay, Ben, JD, Sean, Aztool would always start the new episode clean shaven, and that's not been the case. Christian and John were probably not on long enough to notice, but with Sean's and JD's departure, they are clearly clean shaven when they cut back to them on the raft looking back on the ship.
Poor continuity, but they don't seem to care. As what appears to be the case with a lot of this show, the exit is purely staged.
