gold coins are fake

i saw joe don un-wrapping one on a cutaway shot and then eat it!

I can't believe they'd use anything fake on a 'reality show'.

Of course the coins are fake. Can you imagine the liability insurance on having a million dollars in gold coins on board a ship (and buried on an island)?

And taxes have to be withheld, as well.

The contestants will get checks (minus taxes) from CBS/Mark Burnett's company, at 6 to 8 weeks at the end of filming. They also have to make sure the contestants are eligible for prizes.

I knew that they were fake but I didn't know that they were made out of chocolate. What episode was this in? I totally missed it.

reply

Lol XD

I think he's joking though, those coins look too flat and detailed to be chocolate. :P They're difinately not real though. It's probably works like monopoly money.

JD's from Alaska? Not bad. No wonder he's in good shape... or is it the opposite?
I just remember that Kendra is from Alaska.

reply

Kendra's not from Alaska!

That's JD!

Don't argue with me. You're just going to lose.
