And the winner is.....

...Ben!

I was hoping Jay pulled it off myself, but I don't think Christa really did enough to deserve this, so I'm glad Ben won. Christa seems like a good person, but not a good pirate.

Don't know what Ben was thinking even considering Nessa over Jupiter though... Nessa wouldn't lift a finger for him on his crew for his short reign as captain. She's done decently on challenges, but he shouldn't trust her for a second to give it her all. Luckily for him, he was forced to choose another. Meanwhile Christa lost and had to give part of her remaining money to Nessa just for the "honor" of running with her at the end.

I don't think it'll happen at this point, but I think this could be an awesome show next season with some retooling.

No random crews, easier mutiny, better challenges that don't end up with both teams digging in one spot...

Anyway, congrats to Ben for the win, have fun with that loot.

Yes congrats Ben...it was an interesting finale that i really did enjoy from beggining to end. I thought this was probably one of the better episodes of the entire series and showed what could be if there was a season 2, even though we know that it is highly unlikely.

My question is why Christa choose John to be apart of her crew instead of Joe Don, and not putting down Azmyth name at all i think was a huge mistake on her part. Jay even said if there are better males out there than pick them and you can't begin to tell me that a tired Jay is better than a rested Azmyth.

As far as the women...in my mind there were only 3 women who showed they could keep up 100% in challenges and that was Christa, Nessa and Cheryl. Jupiter might've been nice and all but she wouldn't of been my first choice either. I think Ben wanted the best regardless of how bitchy Nessa would be.

And what the hell is up with kendra wanting to be a part of the final challenge? Did anyone else just laugh out loud when she raised her hand?

A good ending to a decent series that has gotten too much crap. There is nothing on this summer and pirate master was one of the few shows that i actually wanted to watch.
