Tatsuya Nakadai? Could it be?

Can someone who reads kanji please find out who plays Toshio, the old vassal who loves Ruriko (aka Benten)? To my western eyes it sure looks like acting god Nakadai Tatsuya doing an uncredited cameo.

I love this movie BTW, and find Miike has a much more interesting take on cinema violence (blowing feathers out of bad guys heads) than Tarantino, who is clearly only in it for the blood.
