This movie was horrible! I don't know why I even watched through to the end. It was very poorly written and although I love Melissa - her performace was stiff. What happened to her relationship with her boyfriend? Too many weak points.

Well, then....You didn't understand the gist of the movie....Probably for a reason....You Obviously Do Not know anyone that suffer's from Alzheimer's Disease, or any other form of Dementia...and you Obviously Do Not work w/ these people....If you had a family member or friend going through this....or if you worked w/ these people...you would understand that this was a heartwarming movie about going through these memory diseases w/ your loved one's....She wanted to get to know her father, before it was too late....before his memories were completely gone....That is what Alzheimer's and Dementia does....It eats away @ your brain....Til you don't remember anything....or anyone....or how to cope w/ daily living tasks like showering, eating, going to the bathroom, taking your meds, dressing, tieing your shoes, socializing, etc...These people literally go through hell each and everyday! Something that you just wouldn't understand! And, BTW, The movie was about her and her family....Not her lovelife! The main story was her and her Father...Not a Boyfriend!
