The nod to 'Kingpin'

This film was terrible, yes. No more needs to said about that. HOWEVER, what the *beep* was the point of having a scene with Rob Moran play the same character he played in Kingpin (a wealthy man who gambles in obscure sports) and even make mention of "his run in with an Amish bowler" prior to getting into grocery bagging. Mort Nathan should be shot for trying to make a call back to one of his superior films in an attempt to try and give this *beep* some type of credibility.

I love Kingpin. Don't soil it's name by attaching your own to it. Boo to the mention and homage to Kingpin, a comedy light years ahead of this piece of film school garbage. Mort Nathan should eat *beep* and die.

Kingpin sucked anyway.

Am i the only one that has that dream?

I love Kingpin too. The scene in Bag Boy that you are talking about was the ONLY moment that I enjoyed the movie. I feel like the people involved in making Bag Boy knew their movie was *beep* and that scene was just recognition that they sucked and Kingpin was way better. Unfortunately, not many people watching Bag Boy would have been familiar with the reference.
