The character of George
Several times in this movie, someone refers to a character named George. Did I miss something? Who was George?
shareNo, you didn't. I guess George was someone that the characters Jack and Robert knew. He may have helped them in their underhanded dealings before but was no where to be found.
shareI really liked little touches like this one, where something is mentioned in passing like a character name and we aren't really given any additional information. It really gives the sense of these characters living in their own world rather than having to explain everything for the audience. It proves they have a history and they aren't just "performing" for the benefit of an audience that has to be brought up to speed. I hate it when the rhythmn of a movie stops dead so a piece of information can be explained for the viewer. It's so artificial.
