Ending up or down?

I'm curious to know what others thought of the ending. Was it an up or down ending? The worst of the criminals were killed, the least of the criminals either went to the hospital or to jail, but the stolen money was recovered. Or was it? Any thoughts?

Yeah, I had the same thoughts on that. They show detectives entering the church but that is it. You really don't know what to believe. Was Mark finally given in or did he send them on a wild goose chase. I gotta think the money was there based on the heavy response.
