Does anyone think they were a but too hard on Lucy? I mean why didn't they torture those guys who ACTUALLY killed the little girl. If I remember right they just killed them instantly.

Probably because torturing, skinning, and mutilating an innocent female by psychotic deformed people seems more horrifying than doing the same to the murderous males who were actually guilty of the crime.

Yes, I have to agree. Lucy was guilty, but she wasn't the one who killed that poor little girl.
The guys should have gotten theirs.
Lucy definetly didn't deserve that fate in the end. She was evil, but not as half as evil as her two cohorts who tortured and slaughtered the child!
They could have tortured all of them, the guys included.

They did torture some of the bad guys, but it was cut out of the movie. Maybe it was too graphic for its audience.

i was about to start an identical topic! i could not understand for the life of me how they decided to dish out the punishment. as you said, lucy had NOTHING to do with kimmie's death - she didnt participate, she didnt condone it, she didnt even know about it! so why she is the one slowly tortured while the guys who did kill her got painful but relatively swift deaths is just ridiculous. the film should've had lucy taking some part in the murder if they wanted to play it out like that. but yeah being a fraud and pretending to love someone for the money is bad but nowhere near deserving of the fate that was handed to her.

But yes, I agree those guys should have been tortured not her.
It was probably to make it more shocking to have a woman skinned alive.
