sure its a joke

haha I rented it on a vending machine and I was expecting to see dePalma's film as well. I wasn't paying attention to the credits and for the first minutes I was flipping out, thinking maybe that it was some weird stylistic choice, to make a movie look like a Z series *beep* until it was too much... so i went online and discovered the trick.

After knowing what I was expecting and reading the reviews I decided maybe it was so bad it deserved a look. And yes, I had a laugh or too, but at the end I couldn't keep my eyes open even when there was slaughter and screams and blood all over...

Everything is so bad: constant flashes that end up burning your eyes with no meaning at all, the acting is ridiculous, the actors dont change clothes in all the movie, you almost see the guy with the syrup bottle squirting all over the vicims, the dialogue is *beep* they always use the same transparent film wrapped body that the cops turn around as they talk nonsense, every shot is so pretentious you can imagine Ulli saying: yeah, this is cool, I have STYLE...

My opinion is that it is made so bad on purpose, you cant be so bad after directing so many movies, he's been working with Fassbinder and Warhol, you can read his bio here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ulli_Lommel , its worth a (quick) read...

But the best of the best is reading the comments and reviews on the internet, hilarious, i cant have enough...

Oh my GOD! You are right, this HAS to be a joke!! Not only is the music distracting and too loud, it doesn't fit the movie at ALL. The film quality is LITERALLY home-movie quality, and of course the acting is rediculous. Wow... that is all I can say after watching this... WOW!!! It's just not possible to make a movie this bad unless you're trying to.

Yeah and did you also notice that they just played one scene twice. It was the scene where after the first killing they are dancing around with all the body parts. The exact same scene was repeated after one of the killings later in the movie. I think the director was probably thinking that noone would notice. Cheap and tacky.
