Looks awesome. I love Nina, shes in Degrassi too. But why is there like no info at all anywhere about this movie?? IMDb has failed me.

It's not a studio film (or a major independent) so there isn't much of a PR machine.

My understanding is the film will be out early in 2008.

I saw this last night at a charity event. It was just horrible. I was giggling my way through most of it (never a good sign with Holocaust movies) which was the only thing that saved it from being dreadfully offensive.

The dialogue was ridiculous and the pacing and plotting were juvenile. The inconsistent comedy German accents of the main characters were no better than am-dram standard and made us think of 'Allo 'Allo.

I don't want to see movies about sensitive Nazis and how awful the war must have been for them. The juxtaposition of scenes where the wet and whingeing German lead moans to Mummy about love "und" poetry with images of Jews giving birth in ditches in fear of their lives was too much to bear. The movie wasn't trying to contrast these two events, but to compare our poor Nazi's lovelorn suffering with the terror of the Final Solution. I say again that this would have been shocking if it wasn't so laughable.

The final straw was the boom mike appearing over the chupa as the rabbi marries the couple supposedly hiding in a barn somewhere in Poland.

Amateurish rubbish, verging on exploitative and offensive - this movie is an embarrassment for all involved.
