Great but for Kennedy...

Just watched this and really wish Jamie Kennedy hadn't been the focal point of this film. I think if they'd made it with someone talented who got ripped into or just had an interviewer going around asking about this stuff rather than Jamie Kennedy whining all the time it would have been a far more poignant documentary. Everyone they interviewed made fantastic points and I LOVE that Bill Hicks clip, it's just Kennedy.
Yes, I realize critiquing this film is me being a "heckler." That's the little joke they played.

Still the first in space.

It's really weird critiquing this one because now you become so self-aware of it. By no means do I think heckling at performances is ok since a heckler who does that is basically just being a dxckhead, but critiquing is totally fair.

I know the arguement was, "Stop critiquing ME and just focus on my work since you don't know me." True--but if a blogger wants to critique the person instead of the substance, then that is his right, even if it means he is now being a shxtty critic.

Overall, Kennedy did some of whiney. I think he even admitted it toward the end of the documentary, but it's true--it was whiney. I don't think I'm a heckler for saying that. I giving a critique on what I saw within the documentary.

I suppose the thing that I really didn't like was how the line between a critic and a heckler was very poorly drawn if it was drawn at all. To discard a critic as a heckler simply because you don't agree with his critique is cheap.
