A Most Heartwarming Story

Some people just can't help being cynical, can they? My gosh, so what if the acting wasn't A-list Hollywood? So what if everything had a homemade feel to it?

This was a true story that was told in an old-fashioned way, with regular folks for the most part. It made it seem more realistic that the performances weren't polished.

I am an animal lover to the core, have two dogs and a cat, and this movie brought me to tears. I have lost beloved pets before, and I know how difficult it is. I volunteer at my local shelter and see tragedies every day. It is so wonderful to see people come together for any cause, especially one so close to my heart. One good ending makes up for so many bad ones.

I did not know it was a true story when I started watching it, but I guessed it very quickly. I also thought maybe some of the actors were in the true version of the story. (true?) Thank you to the folks who told this story, to the hometown that did this for that dog, for every warm-hearted person in this world that really cares. God Bless.

Come see a fat old man sometime!

Well said, my friend, well said. Good to know there are still some of us out here, the ones with souls and hearts. (Please don't think I'm being sarcastic, because I'm not)

God Bless you as well,

I just saw this movie yesterday, and I loved it. I loved how everyone in the community got together to save Semper. And I'm not being sarcastic either.

To stupid people everywhere: Thank you for brightening my day!

I just watched it. Sure the acting isn't that great (I liked it that way, though). It brought tears to my eyes as I had lost my dog a year ago. One thing I'm critical about is, though, Semper didn't get enough screen time.

They only had 2 dogs for the role of Semper. They weren't good actors either, lol. But nice movie.
