This show is aging badly

An old white male lead character is kind of embarrassing for 2020 standards.
A black guy as the baddy, stereotypical mexicans. Good lord...
Maybe we'll have a remake in the future with some more progressive and diverse casting choices.

Your bigotry is showing.

reply

ah i get it , you're trying to trigger the anti PC brigade?

reply

Nice trolling post, pal. But you should name it "this show is breaking badly".

reply

The high school chemistry teacher looked pretty typical.

If you're in a border state like New Mexico, you're going to see Mexican cartels in the drug trade.

And the black bad guy was successful businessman with a dark side.

reply

Why is an old white male lead embarrassing?

Gus Fring was one of many many baddies. Almost everyone on the show was a baddy.

What stereotypical Mexicans? I don't remember any.

Media should be made well, not made to fill a diversity checklist.

reply

Oh please. Your attempt at trolling is so lame.

These are the kind of comments that would set off a firestorm back on IMDB, and get all political and nasty, and part of the reason that the IMDB Message Boards got shut down.

Just give up please. We get it. People complain about diversity, and lack-of-diversity in everything.

It's just a way of life. Some people aren't happy unless they have something to complain about. So sad.

1 of the best trolls on imdb back in the days was Xxjesusrocksxx. He could start a thread and trigger so many posters that he would get 100s of replies in minutes. The funny thing is, part of his trolling tactics was to act like he wasn't trolling at all so he would respond to every reply with the wittiest comebacks. It was almost a challenge to read his post/replies and not get sucked in.
