I think Walt Jr is the real victim

He was by far the most innocent character, he was the only one who had absolutely no involvement in anything. One second he has a normal life, he has a great relationship with his dad and the rest of his family, and then he finds out his dad is a complete monster and his whole family was lying to him, then his uncle dies and he thinks his dad killed him, then his dad dies. I wish I could find out how he handled it all after the end, and how his life turned out.

Yeah, out of all the characters, he was the only one who was totally innocent.

Good points
Gotta pity the young guy...he adored his pop at the start and wound up seeing him as a monster...heavy stuff!

Well, you are not wrong. He was still an annoying little shit though.

I felt a lot of sympathy for Walter Jr., for all the reasons you mentioned, and I too am left wondering how he coped with it all.

I really never understood the animosity towards Walt, Jr. This was probably the most realistic depiction of a teenager on TV. Yes, he occasionally was an annoying little shit, but that is what teenagers are! I do think that Walt, Jr. weathered the storm. Especially with the funds that Walt funneled through Eliot and Gretchen Schwartz.

I think he did as well, although I'm sure he was deeply confused, hurt, and angry for quite a long time, considering he once thought so highly of his dad. I agree, his portrayal was very realistic. Also, one must remember that not only is he a teen, he's a *disabled* teen. His disability sets him apart from his peers. It's something he can't change or hide. Teenagers tend to worry a lot and put a lot of effort into fitting in, and here he is barely able to walk. That's got to be hard on the poor kid.

The only straight shooter....was hilarious hearing his observations like "you're a pu&&y" when they had the intervention.
