Why would Walt care when..... ( spoilers )

I would think that Walt wouldn't shed any tears when ASAC Shrader was killed. Hank wanted to take his money, force his family out on the street and send him to the electric chair. Hank also did not treat Walt with any dignity while arresting him and even mocked him by waving at him when he was on the phone with his wife. If my brother-in-law was trying to destroy my life, I'd laugh at him as he prepared for death.
