Who binged watched as opposed to watching live

I binged this and have to say Im glad I did cause I would have been going crazy waiting weekly especially later in the series as I believe series started getting real good around season 3 and on.

I had to get the show on dvd because I didn't have AMC yet during the show's original run. Watched the whole series in about 11 days and loved every minute. AMC usually has a marathon at least once a year, they're playing a few episodes today.

I binged it on Netflix after the show ended. I was hooked so yeah, I would have hated having to wait for a new episode once a week.

i watched live since it first premiered back in 08, i always felt that makes for a better experience

If binging means watching 12 episodes a day, then no I did not do that.

However, I did watch a few here and there, on Netflix, from start all the way to finish. Took a few months. I was fortunate to have access to recordings of the final season before it was on Netflix, and by the time I got to the final episode it had aired just a day or two earlier. Talk about incredible timing, I never watched the show live, I never had to wait a week in between episodes--and years, like so many fans, and it felt great and as incredible as this show is, I am glad I missed it when it was airing live.

Unfortunately now I am stuck in Better Call Saul mode where I am forced to see each episode live, and only 10 episodes every agonizing year is pathetic. That show is capable of so much more. A show like this should have no less than 17 episodes a year.

Same. I didn't think I would be as hooked on Better Call Saul as I am.

SO am I. I loved BCS - perhaps even more than BB. With BCS, I just record all the episodes and then watch them later. I know it means no spoilers, etc. during its live broadcast.

BB I watched something like 5/6 after it aired originally. I only came on to BB thru BCS. The BCS board was raving about BB so I decided to give it a go. I watched the whole 5 seasons in about a 6 weeks or so. I didn't quite so much like S5. They could/should have ended after S4 where he dies saving someone, etc. I just didn't like that they killed his brother-in-law (but there are consequences to him going bad). I loved the two main characters but liked all the main characters too.

We would wait for the end o fa season, then binge those DVDs. When it hit the final season though, we watched live to avoid spoilers. I enjoyed the mixed approach. (During the finale we got a big plate of nachos from a local restaurant, including guac, in honor of the awkward tableside guac scene.)

This is a personal opinion but I for my part thought that the show started to go downhill starting season 4. The first three seasons were total awesomeness though. It is like an adrenaline rush that get more and more intense, while starting season 4 it starts to be really dark and depressing here and there. Also (even though I know it was pretty much the point of the show), it is like there is no hope left for any character in the end. The violence becomes more and more present and you start to hate most of the characters. In the end the only two characters that I appreciated were Saul and Mike (I can tolerate Walter Jr. even though he is a real pain in the ass but is a kid).

I watched after the series ended. Watched the first 3 or 4 episodes over a period of months. I forget exactly which episode it was that grabbed me, but thereafter it was an all-day, all-night marathon fueled by coffee and cigarettes to stay awake (and normally I don't smoke).

Me! Watched it all on Netflix, within a few weeks, and I'm glad I did. The wait between episodes would have driven me nuts.

I binged the entire thing over a two week period. Felt Like a part time job. But I was glad to have done it that way. I DVR'd it when AMC ran all the episodes. The thing that really bothered me was that the AMC commercials contained all these spoilers-- including the Gus Fring explosion.
