After I saw this movie I found some of their music on CD at my local public library, one of them is "Beach Boys classics selected by Brian Wilson." It only has 20 songs but all of the top songs on your list are on it also. Now I am able to listen to their music any time I want!

Nice! Do you have a favorite?

"In My Room", for two reasons ... I now understanding where it came from in Brian's life, and a few years ago when I was singing with a Barbershop group we did that song in 4-part Barbershop harmony and it really is a great song to sing.

Sail On Sailor, Friends, and Forever are on my list. I have mixed feelings on Solar System; it's a bit too weird. The others I'm sure I've heard before but they haven't stuck with me.

No little deuce coup? Sloop John b? Classic!

Any list of the top 50 Beach Boys tunes that doesn't make room for "Feel Flows", "Heroes and Villains", "Sail on Sailor" aind "Marcella" is just wrong, by definition. But thanks for playing.

I love every track on Pet Sounds and the Smile Sessions. I also love Til I Die, Do It Again, This Whole World.

In My Room hits a little too close to home, so I cringe when I hear that. Good Vibrations, California Girls, I Get Around, Help Me Rhonda are some other good ones.

Unlike the Beatles, I'm not sure of their strengths as an album band, but they were a hell of a singles band.

Funny, I'm always drawing parallels between the two bands, and I just thought of another. "Surfin" and "Love me Do" - not the most staggering of debut singles...they're all right and enjoyable enough, but even retroactively, I'm not sure I hear "IT" about what they'd both become later. They're head-scratchers, that's for sure.

However, "Surfin USA" and "Please Please Me" really pushed them both out of the gate. WHAT a rebound shot for them both.

I saw the best minds of my generation destroyed by madness, starving hysterical naked.
