Best performance in the film: Elizabeth Banks

Yes.... Elizabeth is beautiful AND talented

One of the most underrated actress working today.
Her role in this film was not flashy unlike other male characters and yet she was the one, in my opinion, who sold this film.
Elizabeth Banks played the part straight and we are able to connect with other characters through her.

That does not mean Cusack, Dano and Giamatti weren't as good but she was fantastic.


Thumbs Up, Thumbs Down and a Wagging Finger of Shame

It is her best performance to date (of which I've seen at least) but that said I think Dano, Cusack, Giamatti and Banks are all pretty even and delivered ace acting.

I thought her performance was quietly STUNNING. My eyes were drawn to her in every scene, and her facial expressions and reactions to Brian's talks with her were so subtle yet very clearly signaled her thoughts and feelings.

I had no idea Elizabeth Banks was such a good actor, having only seen her lighthearted movies.

definitely her and Giamatti

Dano was fine.. but i think those two were great here.
